AKASS team was awarded  a contract to handle the site survey of VSAT network migration in Addis Ababa. The team , in association with both local IT team of the bank and the VSAT operator, performed the detailed survey and delivered the report which was accepted to customers satisfaction and appreciation.

The submitted document  included a detailed report of :

•          the amount of resources required
• -          time frame for the move
• -          required team members of the Bank, AKASS Engineering, international satellite operators
• -           and all required permits and procedures from the Telecom   Regulatory office of the country.

Once the detail report is analysed and accepted,  AKASS team awarded to supplies required materials and handle the physical migration of the VSAT which included:

• -          Relocation of all Outdoor unit , which included a 2.4 m  Antenna and associated equipment
• -          All the indoor equipment which included the iDirect morde, routers, ups and other equipment.
• -          New Intermediate cable layout
• -          Align the antenna , perform loop test and handle it to customer.

The team successfully completed the physical move project in 5 working days.
